Heidegut Eschede has existed for over 100 years and has been owned by the Schlottau-Blume family since 1970. The Schlottau-Blume family lives, weaves and works on the farm, today in the third generation.
They live here in detached log houses in the middle of the spacious, park-like courtyard. On our farm you will meet happy free-range chickens, who also produce the breakfast eggs. The rich breakfast is especially popular with our guests. Small and large rabbits live in an aviary and can be petted by children upon request.
On the roofed grill place you can enjoy long summer evenings and let active vacation days end in the nature. Directly adjacent is the small playground and a natural lake.

15 km north of Celle lies the Heidegut Eschede, holiday village*** and riding school**** in the middle of the wonderful nature of the southern heath with a great offer of riding, hiking and cycling paths.

In the old manor park, 10 comfortably furnished Scandinavian-style log cottages are open to families, riders and nature lovers all year round. Each of the comfortable *** holiday houses is equipped with a living-dining room with kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. On the spacious terrace (50-80 m²) you can relax after an extensive ride.

Self-catering: In the many farm shops of the region and on the markets you can buy regional products and freshly prepare them in our holiday homes. A special tip are the delicious heather potatoes of the region.

Horse riding
You can explore the region from the back of your horse on the 400-kilometre-long network of riding trails.
Hiking and cycling
You can explore the nature of the Südheide on a cycle tour on the well signposted cycle path network or experience heath and forest areas while hiking on extensive hiking trails. A very special tip is the Lutter cycle path along the Lutter nature reserve. In our calendar of events we inform you about events and guided tours in the Südheide.
