Since 1997, Wennerstorf Farm
Museum has been a vivid and experience-oriented site, where museum topics are
combined with ecological agriculture. Geese and sheep, horticulture and farm
work are elements of agriculture which are presented in a lively way to Museum visitors.
The Farm Museum conforms to Bioland guidelines. Therefore, its environmental
responsibility is shown and is combined with the type of farm management from 80
years ago.

The Farm Museum is furnished in
the style of the 1930s: bedroom and kitchen, stable and kitchen garden look as
if their occupants only briefly turned their backs on it. Visitors delve into a
world of time gone by when strolling through the farmhouse or eating cake and
listening to typical 1930s’ Heinz Ruehmann music in the farm café.

There is also a lot for children to
discover. We have a holiday programme, courses for adults, and many festivals
throughout the year – there is always something going on at our Farm Museum!
