We are a middle class country inn hotel near Lüneburg with easy access to the nearby highways A1, A250 and A25. We were rated *** + superior by the DEHOGA, the German organistation for hotels and restaurants. It has to be emphasised that we are a member of the association "Regionale Esskultur Lüneburger Heide", an organisation aimed at preserving the diversity of the regional traditional cuisine, and have committed ourselves to the use of fresh, seasonal products from the region.

Our hotel is located at 8 km from Lüneburg, between the region Elbtalaue and the cities of Lüneburg and Hamburg, in the small, contemplative village of Brietlingen.

You have quick access to the A250 (5 km from our hotel) which connects with the highways A1 and A7. Our hotel is surrounded by several walking trails and bicycle paths. Furthermore, you can find 4 renowned golf courses in the immediate vicinity. The city of Lüneburg is quickly accessible and offers numerous possibilities for young and old.

The country hotel Franck exists since 1922, is now in its 4th generation and was originally a dairy. The house was classed *** + Superior by the DEHOGA. 32 different hotel rooms offer you all the comfort you need which is important nowadays to feel fine. 2 rooms suitable for people with allergies, 1 special room for hearing impaired people group C, one room with disabled access (group D), many hotel rooms on the ground floor suitable for people with slight walking disabilities. In addition, our hotel offers you a swimming-pool, tennis court, skittle-alley, sauna, solarium, a restaurant with several rooms, bicycle rental, additional rooms for both small and big luggage, a terrace, a smoking lounge and a lot more.

The hotel rooms are arranged according to categories. The Superior Rooms are bigger than the Comfort Rooms and have a view on the garden which you are welcome to use. All rooms are equipped with Sat TV, Internet access, minibar, desk, additional seating possibilities, Venetian blinds, hairdrier, safe, phone.

All room prices include breakfast buffet.

We would especially like to emphasise that we are a member of the association "Regionale Esskultur Lüneburger Heide", an organisation aimed at preserving the diversity of the regional traditional cuisine. With the membership we have committed ourselves to working almost exclusively (to 70%) with fresh products from the region. Try our German goose in winter or some fresh Heidschnuckenbraten, a special sheep roast, in summer. You will be amazed!
