The "Heidschnuckenwanderweg" is running directly past our hotel.
You can hike up to 3 stages of the walking path from our hotel. This trail has been certified as a "quality hiking trail" by the German Rambler's Association.

We have been awarded the certificate "Qualiätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland". Our hotel is also a "stamping station" on the "Heidschnuckenweg": Here you can receive the stamp for your hiking pass.

- Eventful and well-signposted hiking options in 23 themed hiking paths and the "Heidschnuckenweg",in the hiking paradise Südheide, run past and are easy reachable from our hotel.
- For cycling friends, the different circular tours offer easy-going cycling fun. These circular routes start directly at our hotel
- Picking mushrooms and berries in the wood and heath.
- The Luneburger Heide is probably the biggest discovery region in Europe. The numerous adventure parks are easy to reach from our hotel.
- The cities Celle, Lüneburg, Hannover and Hamburg are definitely well-worth seeing. During your stay you should consider a day trip to those.

Our hotel offers 25 non-smoking comfort rooms, thereof are 20 double bedrooms and 5 single bedrooms. The comfort rooms are located in the main building, in guest house I and in guest house "Hof Wiesengrund". Additionally, 4 non-smoking holiday homes invite you to enjoy relaxation.

Since June 2019 we offer 4 one-room apartments which are located in our former horse stable. 2 apartments are located at the ground floor, 2 are located at the first floor. The one-room apartments have a sleeping and living area, a shower bath and a kitchinette with a dining area. These new apartments can be booked for a stay as of 3 days.
Our cusine offers you tasty dishes made from regional products. Different campaign days provide for a variety in the menu.
The sun terrace and the garden invite you to linger. We also offer garden loungers and garden chairs if you wish to relax and read a magazine or a book in a quiet corner of the garden.
WIFI is available via Hotsplots in all hotel rooms and apartments as well as in the restaurant, at the terrace and in the conference room. (Please note that the wifi performance might be limited).

Room features
We offer spacious, calm comfort bedrooms with a magnificent nature view. The rooms are all equipped with en-suite bathroom, colour-TV, telephone, hair dryer and wifi via Hotsplots. In every room arm chairs or a couch invite you to linger.
Our 25 non-smoking bedrooms are in our main house, guesthouse I and in our guesthouse "Hof Wiesengrund". Please note that our hotel has no lift. At our hotel you will keep fit and sporty while using our staircase as your personal gym with up to 2 floors."
At our guest house "Hof Wiesengrund" we have 2 bright and friendly holiday homes on the ground floor. These apartments have 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bath room as well as a terrace. Here you can linger longer. Hier lässt es sich auch länger verweilen.
The 2 spacious holiday apartments have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. One holiday apartment is on ground level, the other apartment has a small balcony. These two holiday apartments are also located at our guesthouse "Hof Wiesengrund" and are suitable for families with older children and a group of friends in order to enjoy their holidays.
In the holiday homes, in one apartment and in several of the hotel rooms pets are allowed for a fee.
1 hotel room is barrier-free and suitable for guest with a mobility handicap. Please note that this room is not wheelchair-accessible. We will be happy to help you - Please contact us by phone.
Catering
You can start your day right with a sumptous breakfast buffet with whole-food, regional dairy products, fresh fruits and a varied range of different cheese and sausage specialities.
We offer a rich half board. You can either choose from a small menu in the morning or we will serve an evening buffet.
For a small fee you can compile your packed lunch according to your wishes. Just inform us shortly in advance.
Here the hotel owner is still cooking the food herself. The seasonal and rich cuisine leaves nothing to be desired.
