Niederhaverbeck: Nature Information Centre

The Nature
Information Centre in Niederhaverbeck has much to discover and experience, for
both children and adults, including the exhibition "Bienenwelten" [The
World of Bees]

What is so special
about bees? What is so special about bee-keeping on heathlands? What are the
characteristics of wax and honey? Which tools do beekeepers work with today,
compared to what was used in the past, at the time of the heath farmer
economy? 

This newly-designed
exhibition by the Nature Reserve Foundation (VNP) is dedicated to giving
answers to these and many other questions.

From the A7
motorway: take exit 43 towards Behringen, pass through the village, keep on
this road for about 8 km. The Centre is located in Niederhaverbeck, on the
right side, at the junction to Heidetal.
