Situated in the heart of Lüneburg Heath, Soltau is an officially recognized health resort. Here, active hikers and cyclists will find more than 875 miles of well sign-posted trails leading through romantic heathland, peaceful villages, and river valleys.

The Soltau-Therme is one of the most beautiful salt water swimming pools in Northern Germany and invites its visitors to play, do sports, have fun and relax. The Therme offers a big salt water bath with an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna, an indoor pool area with a huge slide, solariums, anti-stress programmes and medical treatment in the “Vita Sol” section, as well as restaurants and a gym in the “Vitadrom” area. Fed from the pool’s own well, the salt water at a temperature of 30 to 36°C (86 to 97°F) will make your stay in the Soltau-Therme a memorable experience.
