Racing legend Ralf Schumacher

Karting for the whole family: Ralf Schumacher Kart Centre in Bispingen is located directly on the A7 motorway. Ralf Schumacher has built a karting track here that is popular with all speed junkies. It is one of the very few kart tracks that also has an outdoor track.
Experience the Formula 1 feeling for yourself
Bispingen has a facility that is unrivalled in Germany: the Ralf Schumacher Kart Centre. But if you think that only die-hard kart drivers meet here to pursue their passion, you'd be wrong: The karting track attracts over 200,000 visitors of all ages every year, families can experience spontaneous driving fun here as well as groups, for whom special arrangements are offered.

Karting as a company event
Companies in particular visit the go-kart track, for example as an employee motivation event, for customer events or simply as a conference venue. Four conference rooms on the upper floor of the fully air-conditioned building, which are equipped with state-of-the-art technical equipment, as well as the restaurant, which offers a special ambience with a view of the indoor and outdoor track, provide the perfect setting.

Outdoor kart track
The outdoor kart track was developed and built by Ralf Schumacher and Jörg Schlüssler back in 1996. Outdoor karting tracks are few and far between in Germany, and the success of the track ultimately led to the planning of an indoor track in the karting hall.

The futuristic-looking building made of glass, steel and concrete was inaugurated in November 2001 - the air-conditioned interior is a true Eldorado for racing enthusiasts, but also for anyone who just wants to have a taste of the action: an original Ralf Schumacher racing car in the entrance area sets the mood for the theme, while on the indoor track, the drivers race around other original Formula 1 cars.

The outdoor track at the Ralf Schumacher Kartbahn Bispingen has a special feature: some of the karts are equipped with real racing rain tyres so that they can be driven in the open air even in bad weather; there are plenty of rain suits available and they are provided free of charge. Experience in recent years has shown that driving in the rain has a very special appeal.

Safety first
If you decide to take a ride in one of the karts, you will receive a detailed briefing - covering the handling characteristics of the kart as well as the flags and other things you need to be aware of on the track. Helmets are provided - and then you're ready to go.

The fleet consists of a total of over 100 karts, which are technically maintained on a daily basis. The fleet is replaced with the latest models every year, ensuring that innovations in kart production are implemented as quickly as possible.

A safety concept drawn up in accordance with the DIN ISO standard ensures that the drivers can enjoy unadulterated driving fun.

Indoor kart track
Those who prefer the outdoor kart track can rattle along the 1000 metre long track at speeds of up to 70 kilometres per hour - the indoor kart track is a little slower but definitely more challenging, which is due to the narrower track layout, although this in no way detracts from the driving fun.

One of the most modern ventilation systems of its kind ensures that the air in the hall is clean all year round. You won't find the smell of benzene here, as the 8.5 hp karts run exclusively on special benzene-free fuel.

Karting for children
Special karts with a shorter design and reduced power are also available for children aged 8 and over in the indoor area of the Ralf Schumacher Kartbahn Bispingen. The very little ones can have their first go at driving electric vehicles on a special track in the outdoor area.
